I have always loved jewelry and have collected it all of my life.  I especially love antique and estate jewelry because of the history and the unique story associated  with each piece.  It represents a way to preserve the past but also to create future stories. Jewelry always marks a special time or occasion in one’s life whether given as a gift or purchased for oneself. Every woman when asked can remember who, what and where when it comes to the special pieces in her jewelry box.

Growing up on the Main Line in Philadelphia I always admired the beautiful and interesting ways that the women wore jewelry. Although many of the pieces had been handed down through their families they found new and interesting ways to wear them......classic and timeless.  

My favorite period is the 1940’s Retro Period. You will see that many of the bracelets and earrings I have are from that period.  Colorful gemstones were used synthetic sapphires and rubies coupled with diamonds, many of which were recycled from older pieces. Combining rose, yellow and green gold in a single piece was common. Gold filled bangels circa 1910-1940 are the most popular pieces in my collection. They are beautifully made with interesting designs and are very affordable.
